The Brows shape the face, a good set of brows can totally change the way you look. Some people are blessed with full brows and we look at them envious wishing our brows looked like theirs, buying every available product on the market to encourage the hair to grow, spending every morning trying to create the full brow look with make up.
So what is microblading?
Microblading is a new method of semi-permanent makeup, using a hand held tool (microblade) to create hair strokes, mimicking the natural direction and length of you brows. Pigment is then deposited into the channels that have been created using the microblade. The results are naturally defined hair strokes, creating full natural looking brows.
Who is Microblading for?
Microblading is suitable for almost anyone* If you have naturally sparse brows through over plucking or through illness Microblading is definitely something worth investing in. Or maybe you’ve got full brows but want a more defined shape. In some cases due to medical conditions you may not be suitable for Microblading.
What is the procedure?
So when you ring to make your appointment you will be asked by a member of staff to come to the salon for a Consultation. During the consultation you will be required to fill in the consent forms and a patch test will be carried out. Clare will then talk you through all the information you need to be aware of from things you need to do before and after your treatment.
During the consultation we chat about what it is your wanting to achieve and we can then advise you on what we think you need. Once the forms are filled in and checked through we will then make an appointment for you to come back for your treatment. A non-refundable deposit of £50 is required at this point to secure your booking. On the day of your treatment we ask you to arrive 10mins early, so a member of staff can go through any last details with you.
How long will the initial treatment take?
We advise you to allow at least 3 hrs for your first treatment. This includes, deciding on a pigment, designing your brows and the treatment itself.
Do I really need a touch/top up?
Yes, a touch up is required approximately 4/6 weeks after the initial treatment for your brows to be classed as complete. This will take around 1hr. During this treatment we assess the pigment, making sure it has healed the way we would expect and reinforce any hair strokes which may have faded or come out during the healing process.
For most people only one touch up is required but in some cases an extra one may be needed, this will be charged at £50. This will be discussed in more detail at your consultation.
The full price including 6 week touch up is £160. This can be paid in 2 instalments: £50 to secure booking, this is non-refundable. Followed by £110 on your treatment day. No payment is required at your 6week touch up appointment.book now
